I don't know. Since my Dakota has duals split from the muffler, I took a
rag and put it in one of the tailpipes. It cut the sound down alot. Seems
as the duals do amplify a little. But boy don't they sound good and look
sharp. From the cab, the only time I notice the exaust is when the sliding
glass is open, or I am flooring it. Then I'm not worried about the
increased noise!!

I'm a dual lover too. I think if you have a V8, it should sound like a V8.
