Wow, thats it? I have a tendency to shift at 42-4500, when on the throttle.
Been doing it since the day I got it, and still runs awesome. Seems that the
powerband in my 96 comes on at around 3000, so if I shift at 42-4500, it drops
right to 3000, and keeps pulling. Did I mention I usually leave it in 4TH on
the freeway? Spin 30-3500 all the way to work. Sure, my mileage sucks, but
the noise from the Gibson (single exit!) and FIPK is cool!!
