I'm still getting used to driving a V8 after driving 4 bangers for the
last 15 years. I'm curious as to where folks have found ideal shift
points on their V8s.
I'm not talking about cruising along in traffic. I'm looking for
pointers on performance shifts - specifically what rpm for
1st,2nd,3rd,4th with normal shifts (I'm not going to power shift my new
baby) provide optimal acceleration when you want to get gone in a hurry
(deserted road, track, etc.).
