I took a look at the Energy Suspensions catalog available at
http://www.suspension.com, and noticed some odd things about the Dakota
bushings. One of them was this bit about having to reuse the sleeves.
Sounds fishy to me, but they had some tips about inserting the new bushings
into your old sleeves after burning out the old rubber. Go check out the
tips at http://www.suspension.com/tips.htm? and tell us how it works (YES
the '?' is part of the URL!).

Well, the trouble with that is Energy Suspension is one of the few
manufacturers that makes greaseable polyurethane bushings. You can
order from other places, like Jeg's.

I'm in sort of the same boat, since I ordered ES 28mm greaseable front
sway bar bushings from Jeg's and they're now on backorder. Uh oh...

I had wanted to get urethane cab mounts, control arm and leaf spring
bushings, but apparently Energy Suspension claims that my '95 is different
from the '94 and earlier, and doesn't list a part # for '95 and has no
plans to create one. :(

What model year and part #s did you order, BTW?

I will say this: the 7/8" ES greaseable bushings and end link grommets
worked GREAT on my '95's rear end.

Good luck, and don't give up,

  Ron
