1) I didn't personally install mine. I'm not exactly mechanical, but I
try. Any way, to install them, support the truck on jack stands, remove the
rear axle from the leaf springs, and lower the truck with the jacks. Fit
the blocks between the axle (now above than the leaf springs) and replace
the axle on the leaf springs with the supplied longer u- bolts.
2) As for lowering it further than 2", you could get 3" lowering blocks, or
add hangers or shackles, both of which raise the leaf springs on the body,
lowering the body. For better, basic information with pictures, look here:
