Re: Honda vs Dakota

All this air bag and 4 point harness talk reminds me why I drive a truck
and not my wife's Honda. I like the thought the air bag is there and I
always wear my seat belt but the thought that I have an 318 cubic inches of
metal engine in front of me and that the rear bumper is 8 feet behind me is
a bigger comfort.

My wife always insists on traking the truck on trips just for the safety
factor even though the Honda gets twice the MPG. The Honda has 100k on it
and we are looking to replace it (I'm trying to talk her into a Durango).
To me the Honda is just a chock block for a Ferd Expedition or a Chevy
Suburban waiting to happen.

The Dakota is Just perfect, plenty of power and ability all within the
perfect size (fits in a compact space).
