I asked this specific question when I ordered my QCab, and the dealer
expressed ITS policy to retain the deposit upon cancellation of the order or
if the vehicle actually received varied in specification from that ordered,
e.g., equipment/options either ordered but not received, or options not
ordered but included. Maybe it depends on the individual dealer.

On the other hand, it is my understanding that ordered vehicles do not count
against a dealer's "allotment" of a particular vehicle, so IMHO unless the
vehicle you ordered is so equipped as to be hard to sell, the dealer ought,
in good conscience and in the interest of keeping customers, be easier to
deal with. Of course, we all know dealers do not always act the way we
think the should or ought to.
