Out of interest, how cheap is cheap? :-)

I'm on my second set of SS10's right now. Same size as yours. I wanted
to go wider, but I like to take the corners in the twisties too, so I
wasn't sure about how safe it would be to go wider. I don't have any
complaints... They corner very well (that is, they can handle what the
truck gives them. I don't have the rear anti-sway bar yet; once I get that
I might be able to get a little better feel as to how they grip.) I ran
my previous set of tires at the track. They probably had about 1/4 of the
tread left at that point. I consistently lit them up in 1st and 2nd.
(And got chirps in 3rd a couple of times.) That was the first time I'd
ever run the 1/4mi though, so some of that wheelspin is due to poor
technique. My 60' times ranged from 2.314 to 2.511 and averaged 2.455
over 10 runs. The tires are much more grippy when they're new.

My Invictas were slicks at 18,000; I just replaced my first set of SS10's
at 40,000. I'm going to try and take it a little easier on this set. :-)

I definitely agree with you about the raised white letters. They look
*very* nice on the truck! :-) They seem to be a good value too.
