Not exactly, but somewhere around the early to mid '70's, in FOMOCO's
as
well as Dodge. Look for a plate on the passenger side that is approx
5X7 inches rectangular. Or look under any wrecker (or probably
carhauler)
to see how the cable winches are pulled. This will give you an idea of
what you are looking for in a transmission or xfercase.
Also all the larger (1 1/2 ton and above) trucks have transmissions that
will accept PTO's. These would give you the picture of the plate you
are
looking for. Keep in mind, you must purchase the PTO for the Specific
tranxmission. They do not interchasnge - and they are quite costly.
