Agate is an odd charcoal color with a slight purple hue (just enough so it
really doesn't
look black. If your seat covering is cloth there is a pattern that is of
several colors in the
blue/purple/aqua areas. It sounds worse than it is, and I actually like
it. Most of the 97s
I saw were ordered in that color, so most people must like it. The
literature I have seen
shows more of the agate than the grey (the gray is very light compared to
the Agate).
I liked the color so much that when I ordered Flo-fit buckets, I had them
covered in the
factory clotch, and man do they look great! (A truck magazine editor
ordered this same
seat in the factory cloth for his personal '97, and I think he shows it).

Anyway, I would get a look before it is too late to change the order -
personal tastes
being what they are.
