I also have a 97 4x2, reg cab, and my stock tire was 215/65/15 and I'm now
running 235/75/15 on all four, I have not done any mods to the front suspension
and they work find, never once have I had a problem. When I was going to this
large of a tire the tire shop done a test fit to make sure the tire would not be
to large. I have not had any problems at all, and I have done hard turning and
also loading my truck down with some rather large loads.
