Whereas Gross vehicle weight includes full rating of truck+gas+passengers+load in bed.
So your assesment above is essentially correct.
BTW: The Durango's curb wieght is 4700 lbs (700 more than CC V8 Dakota). I don't
think I'd try to move that around with the base V6.
