I was looking at the fiberglass Checkmate flush mount and a lid sold
by California Concepts called the Sprint. They said that the Sprint
lid has a very smooth finish. The Checkmate shows the fiberglass
strands so it would take some work to get it smooth. I got brochures
from both places and they show the mounting systems of each.
