Well I looked throught the factory service manual for my 98 Dak and
read the schematics and it appears that the Daytime Running Light
Module (DLRM) would just drop in to replace the factory jumper that
is on the US trucks. I spoke with my Dodge parts dude and he said
no way, according to the service manager. the service manager was
not there at the time for an explination. I have a hard time buying
this. Does anyone know for sure if this is the real story?
The only possibliity I see is that the V8 is not imported into
Canada. It appears that there is a difference in the DRL wiring for
the V8 .
