Well, even as I speak, my OD unit on my 92 4x4 Dak is being rebuilt......It
needed a "sun gear and carrier", which is a $600.00 part by itself. Total
repairs are in the $1000.00 range.
Thank goodness my warranty will cover it.
My truck was whining in OD for a while (since the last time the transfer
case was rebuilt)....hopefully this will solve the trouble.
