What is this?

I bought my truck used, and right after I got it, noticed this. Can
anyone tell me what it means?

Theres a sticker on the upper left of the computer. It says the
following:

P/N: 4856067
DLR Code: 44241
Date: 6-27-97
AUTHORIZED SOFTWARE UPDATE

Then, on the hood it has a sticker that says that the following
modifications have been authorized, and it has this number with the same
date as the above:

PCM PN 4856067
