     It wouldnt hurt. You should talk to your service mgr. about mods. Mine
     said installing a muffler would void the exhaust warrantee ONLY. A
     "quality" air filter would not void anything. Of course if you had an
     engine related problem, I would probably put the old one back in. Joe

I've got to take my 97 Dak into the Dodge shop for a front end
alignment and front control arm replacement and have a
fluid leak ( oil or automatic transmission ).
     
     
I've got an open element air cleaner.
     
Should I put the original box type air cleaner back in
when I take the truck to the shop? I don't want the
shop guy to start talking about voiding any
warranties.
