K&N Kits for 97' V6s

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the nice deverted airflow kit from K&N which fits the 95 and 96 Dak V6s on the 97 V6?

I also hear that Holly has a throttle body that fits the V6s? Anybody hear about this and does it help the proformance.

Ohhhh, heres a small tip.. I found this out from a guy who works for a major CAT mfg..

He said that quite a few years back when Doge was having finacial difficulties that they got themselves stuck into a contract with the mfg for all of their CATs the problem is that the CATs all run way to HOT based on CAT technology of today. This means that by default Mopar had to make all of their engines run rich to keep the CAT from overheating, thus a bad fuel misture for milage and proformance...

I see all these CAT back upgrades.. Might I suggest a manifold back upgrade.. you would be suprised at what kind of CATs are actualy available that work way better than what we actually get and that they are Federal approved.. Finding them is hard though not to mention expensive... Would you belive it if I were to tell you that there are CATS out there that put little to no back pressure on your valve side? Its amazing what politics and bad business can do..

Of course there is the additional problem of finding someone with the tools and know how who is willing to replace a CAT. :(
