I have been having problems with my manual transmission. Have a 97 4x4 V6.
It is very stiff to get into 2nd gear and is getting worse. Dealer usually
says he doesn't see a problem. Today they said Chrysler says to put some of
their special synthetic oil in the transmission. Of cours the problem still
exists. I have no difficulties changing into 1st, 3rd, 4th or 5th gears,
just stiff into 2nd and often grinding into reverse. Any thoughts I can use
to help me get hte dealer to fix this problem or what the problem may be???????
