I dont have my new dak yet so I dont know what things look like under the hood.
If it were
possable to make a fairly large opening from the underhood area to the cowl vent
area and then
make a kind of box arround your open element air cleaner so that when the hood is
closed
the air would be obtained only from the opening in the cowl area that would be
cool air, maybe
slightly pressurized and much less likely to take in rain or water than a grill
mounted air duct.
I am guessing at this again because I have no Dak to look at. (Hope I will someday
if they EVER
BUILD any R/Ts.
