I have a funtional hood ran air hood scoop on my 92 CC.
the water does not bother the K&N filters.(oil and water
don't mix) The setup I have is homemade and I did this in
the summer of 96. Drag in not enough to worry about. I did
a test with and without a bug shield. I was .2ths faster
without the bug shield. The cold air over comes the drag.
