Ok, here we go in laymans terms

in order to perform a good alignment all tires MUST be at proper inflation!
All wheels must be or same size per axle ( ie matching set on each axle 15x8
on front and 15x7 on rear is ok but you can't have 3 15x8's and 1 15x7 )

Camber is the inward ( negative ) or outward ( positive ) tilt of the tire
Caster is the relationship of the distance the upper ball joint leads or
follows the lower ball jont. ( ie and bicycle as very High caster due to the
forks being bent toward the rider. If the forks were straight up and down
caster would be 0 tilted the other way would be Negative )
Toe is the inward ( positive ) or outward ( negative ) angling of the front of
the tire from the Thrust angle
The thrus angle is the relationship between the actual centerline of the
vehicle and the angle at which the rear axle is sitting. ( ever seen an old
ford 4x4 dog track down the highway, the reason it drives straight is because
all the tires are facing forward at the same time. / / instead of
l l the latter would cause the vehicle
                           / / / /
to pull to the left becouas the rear THRUST us pulling the bac wheels around
the front!

Caster and Camber must be set first. as these affect you Toe readings
to accurately set toe without a CPU of some sort ( even an old Line a Light )
is almost never gonna happen.

I did mine at work and set camber to 0 on both sides and caster to something
like 3.0 and toe is like 0 also, no tire wearing problems here, After I get
my new P275/60R15's on this Sat. all have align checked and let you know for
sure what the exact measurements are
