Yea, but the cops care, and in VA, they will pull you over, take your radar
detector, and ticket you for having one.
NC VasCar is a non-radar/laser speed detection method. I don't know how it
all works, but it is the troopers eyes, and a computer in his car. It
stands up in court and no fuzz buster in the world can detect it. And if
the trooper sees a radar detector in your car, I'm sure they are not about
to cut you any slack. Actually had one tell me that when he pulled me, and
yes I was busted by VasCar and the radar detector never chirped.
