Thanks for the feedback. The outer edge round over appears to stop with the 0-0
alignment. But afterwards, and with a new set of tires the problem is now the
strange feathering. Identical pattern all across the tread, and seems like it is
on the wrong edge (forward edge, as if the tire was being dragged backward,
instead of the trailing edge as you might expect with the tire rolling forward).
It is not fast cornering, because I have been paying attention to how I drive
since this problem showed. The alignments don't seem to last very long. I have
had lots of cars and trucks and have never had to baby any of them like this.

It occured to me to add stiffer shocks, a larger sway, etc to compensate, but
don't want to spend the $ to experiment.
