I got a Universal Cat from Summit, and noticed a little more oomph, but not
a whole lot, but my gas mileage improved drastically after the truck
adjusted. 21.7 mpg on the highway last tank!

Well here is my new question...my 93 Dakota 4x4 has plenty of hard
miles on her and its time for an exhaust upgrade....I need to know if
anyone out there with a Dak 4x4 with the V6 has done any exhaust
upgrades and if so what kind of exhaust is it and where there
noticeable improvements. Finally I noticed in the Magnum Performance
catalog they have a High Flow 3 inch cat, does this cat apply to the
3.9's and is it worth $190?? If anyone out there has done these mods
and can give me some info I would greatly appreciate it.

I've got the mopar performance exhaust directly from chrysler and it
does make a noticible improvement in the low end...on top of that
sounding
really fine!! It can't recall the cost, perhaps around $300. I bought it
directly from dodge to retain my warranty and make as little or an
argument as
possible if I ever had to bring it in for service. It's the same exact exhaust
Gibson makes (they manufacture it for dodge). As far as the high flow
cat is
concerned, I haven't yet passed the 50k mark, so I can't change mine yet.
But
I can lat you know maybe in another year and a half?? Feel like waiting??
