than the horn, this is a fact. I recently purchased a pair of hi-lo
horns from J.C. Whitney, I haven't installed them yet. A friend of mine
put "semi" horns on his truck and they were very high pitched in sound ,
but they did have somr range to them. The horns I would like to install
on my truck are the ones we used on the fire apparatus, they were Grover
Stutter Tones, at that time (14 yrs ago) they were restricted for sale
to F.Ds. only, but they really moved traffic. It seems a shame to spend
as much as we did on our trucks and have such a rinky dink horn.
