as the name implies, that bolts up the flywheel from the back of the motor
to the torque converter. You can see this divice and the bolts holding it
all together if you remove the inspection cover from the underside of the
transmission, from what would be the bell-housing on a manual tranny
(automatics don't have a bell-housing, just a factsimily of one.
