Uhhh, I don't think so....not when you're talking about trucks. A static
strap on a moving vehicle is a leather stap bolted to the frame that just
slightly drags on the pavement. Look closely at the next gasoline tanker
you get behind.
The strap dissipates all static electricity that builds up in the vehicle by
letting it flow to ground.
