Accessible Technologies is claiming 2 second improvement in the 1/4. While
this would be nice, 4G's is a lot of money. The only Dakota I ever saw at the
track with one was an early 90's and it was a pig. Best ET I saw for it was
15.40. I assume it was due to installation or operator error, but until I
find out much more I don't want to be the test subject. Besides, I'm not sure
if anything that radical is called for. Assuming my truck runs some where in
the 15's, I shouldn't need a blower to get a 1 1/2 second improvement. The
truck is nice to drive and has a good amout of power, but if there was no OBII
to contend with, cheaper improvements could be made to get near the same
results. I guess when the service manual gets here I'll start playing around.
I'll keep you posted. You have an R/T, right? Let us know what it runs if
you do decide to race it.
