No way, the oil and filter were changed at 500 miles, and it will get another
at 1000. With today's materials and assembly techniques, it is no long
necessary to break an engine in for more than a few hundred miles. Everything
(driveline included) will loosen to some degree, but shouldn't make a dramatic
difference. It's important to keep the oil clean and the first few changes
need to be done early because they are the most contaminated.
