Hey Bobby;

That is the fan/clutch you are hearing, meaning the viscous drive of the fan
clutch is spinning the fan pretty fast when you start it cold and the fan is
sucking in 3 billion cubic feet of air until the viscous drive lets it slow
down after a short period.
