It is becoming more and more common. Tailgates cost a lot of money and
usually get damaged from towing and general use. In Arizona, it is
becoming a new way to get fast cash, 'bangers are stealing them for
resale.=20

Think about it, why bother getting the new gate, getting it painted,
etc. They can steal your in ten seconds and not set off most alarms...
