I was talking about the 96+ models. My friend has one (98 318 5 spd, 3.92)
that went 15.3-15.4 stock.... he's in the mid 14s now with stock heads, tb,
rockers, and exhaust manifolds.. not bad.. Now maybe if the auto tranny in the
R/T was massaged a bit.. but I don't know how they perform even when modified
(I'm sure a manual valve body would do wonders, or even a shift kit..) so I
can't speak there.
