I realize that. That's old news. I'm thinking Ford will have to
merge/buy again to keep up w/ capacity. DaimlerChrysler is still behind
Ford in terms of size, but not very far at all. With the improvements
the two added together will give, Ford is going to sink or swim, and to
swim, they must merge. GM, on the other hand, is big enough to stay
alive. Jag was nothing anyway, it was going to fail sooner or later, it
was just a matter of time.
Rolls and Bently and Jag were bought out b/c they were small. What the
Daimler Chrysler deal does, is redefine what a "small" car company is.
