I don't think that porting & polishing would void the warranty anymore than doing anything else would...all you are doing is improving the air flow of the factory heads by removing any casting flash, opening up the exhaust ports, smoothing out the intake runners/removing obstructions, and giving it a competition valve job. Also, from what I have heard, the stock springs/push rods need to be replaced anyway if you plan on revving over 5000rpm.

law that says putting aftermarket stuff does not void the warranty
(something to that effect). That is where installing the blower/headers
could be better.
