Okay, check this out...in my 88 DAK....
At school in Winchester Va.... approx 1200 ft elevation.... 13 city, 19
Hwy. Most of my city miles are like little 2 mile excursions to Wally
World (walmart) and Sheetz for a 3AM sub(I'm a growing Boy!)..HWY miles
are to WVa. and PA to see my girl at around 75mph.
At home in Yorktown Va..... a lot lower.... I average 17 around town and
22 on the highway... My average commute is 40 miles to Busch Gardens
everyday (total... to and from) all Interstate (I64 if you're keeping
track) at around 65-70 MPH. City is cruising miles... I don't romp on it
a lot at home cuz' every other car has lights on it.
My mod are as follows.... and I threw in my MPG gains too
K&N.... about .5 MPG
High Flowin' Cat.... 1 MPG
Flowmaster..... about 1.5 MPG
Took 25 pounds of Lead out of my foot...... 5MPG =)
My K&N needs a bath, and it'll start flowin' good again....... otherwise
it runs great!
hope this helps....
