Sean, are you saying that the camshaft that the 5.9 R/T's come with from the factory is not compatible w/ 1.7 roller rockers? Will the 1.7 rockers give too much lift and cause piston/valve interference?

I was pretty surprised at the gains myself when this article was run
in Truckin' some months back. I got curious and wanted to see the
differences between stock and w/ rockers, ave. gains, and a graphic plot of
the numbers. I thru it all into Excel and did a rough calculation back to
flywheel numbers too (easier for most to relate to). Anyhoo...a .jpg of
the file is at http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/7877/rocker.jpg for
anyone that's interested.

One point to note here is that if you're thinking of doin' the rockers or
the R/T cam remember that you shouldn't do both. I was warned that the
Magnum R/T cam and the 1.7 rockers don't mix. Crower offers a regrind on
your stock cam to compliment the 1.7s.

Just an FYI
