<< I was perusing Sean's most cool web page and noticed a few of the trucks

the
very few Magenta colored trucks ( don't laugh ) around and have noticed that
the paint seems
to be very thin. I don't want to destroy the paint in the process of
removing them
darn ugly stickers. I sure could use some guidance here. Thanx! >>

It's very easy .. and it's easier to do when the truck is new b/c if you wait
too long you'll have a custom SPORT spot in your paint that's not faded like
the rest of the truck. :P

Use a hairdryer to heat up the decal (take your time, don't get the paint too
hot.. ) and CAREFULLY peel it away peice by peice. After you get the decals
off you'll notice you'll now have a nice layer of tacky adhesive crud. 3M
makes something that removes that sticky stuff, but I don't remember what it
is.. I think it was along the lines of adhesive remover ... That's what I've
seen used and it comes out fine. I used a product called Goo Gone when I
removed the decals from my sportbike and it worked fine also.
