Cleaners you put in the tank would probably not have an effect on the IAC since
it handles mostly air and just gets in contact with fuel vapors. A small cough
while starting now and then probably is what gets them dirty, or sitting in
fuel vapors when you shut down. A spray in cleaner may do the trick.
