Hey Brad...what's up? As for compatability between the 1.7s and
certain cams....your best bet would be to call both Mopar *and* the cam
manuf. You can see what kind of info you get (my post on incompatibility)
when talkin' to just one source.
As for the blower? If you want the most out of the huffer you'd probably
want a cam optimized for it. Again....talk to Vortech, Paxton, Whipple.
Let 'em know your long term plan of attack and if you're sure that's the
route you're gonna go.....don't do the cam twice. Lay out the plan ahead
of time and if it turns out that you're better waiting to do a blower cam
*with* the blower then I'd wait. Maybe you can get some gains by
installin' a blower cam now and be all set for the huffer when that time
comes. Those guys could tell you for sure tho. The Comp Cams, Mag R/T,
etc aren't gonna hurt things if eventually goin' to a supercharger if you
decide ya gotta have the cam now. Ya just might not get every last hp you
can out of the blower.
