Hey Mike....Milan Dragway is about just a little south of Ann Arbor on
US23. Traffic gets a bit heavy over that way at times so that's the only
snag in the trip over. If ya get a chance check out
http://www.milandragway.com .
The Friday night Grudge night would be perfect for ya to run the truck even
without any mods. It's $8 to watch and $20 to run so it's almost
worthwhile to just screw around and see how fast it is. The late afternoon
and early evening is Test-n-Tune so you can see how she's runnin' and get
an idea for a dial-in for the Grudge Night Brackets that start early
evening. It's a real laid back night and the bracket format makes it
possible for anyone that's consistant to win. I believe there's usually
sumthin' for ya if ya win the whole thing. One night last year it was a
free session on a local chassis dyno.
If ya get there early you can usually run back to back as soon as you can
get back down the return road and stage again. I got 15 runs in last
October in about 4 hours will 1/2 hour cooldowns between groups of 4 runs
and stoppin' for awhile to look around and to eat a burger.
I'll be sure to keep ya posted.
