David,

Who makes the TrailMasters, to be honest I have never heard of them.
But then I mainly into cars, show and go, haven't had much experience
with the trucking thing. I bought the Dakota to tow my Camaro with.
Drove a full size club cab and the wheel base was so long that it was a
nightmare in a parking lot with a trailer behind it, so I got the
Dakota. It was the smallest thing I could find that had enough under the
hood to tow my car and trailer. By the way the Dakota tows nice as long
as you have trailer brakes. The brakes on the Dakota by themselves
aren't safe for towing anything over a 1000 pounds.
