I found some good calcs on the K&N web page.
I used 5200 rpm as the max,
318 CID
12.50 OD for the filter
and came up with a height of 2.77 inches.
That's pretty darn close to the 2.75 inches that Catlin
is using.
Whaddya think? I don't spend a whole
lot of time at 5200 rpm. I guess I don't mind
if the engine gets a little short of air at that
spot on tach....
