I was reading the factory service manual really late last night
to find the location of the coolant temperature sensor when I
stumbled across the wiring diagrams for the *electric cooling
fan* on the 2.5l Dakota.
Old Mother Mopawr may have sent us all the wiring to put
a fan in our 5.2l trucks, it's just not being used right now.
I'll read the service manual again tonight and then look at the truck
to see if the fan wiring and such is really there.
The computer already knows how to turn an electric fan on and off
at certain speeds, certain temps and when the A/C is engaged. No
monkeying around with installing additional temperature sensors,
more relays and additional wiring.
I'll post more info after investing the wiring on my '97.
