Well, the CC is heavier than the RC R/T, so that might be why yours doesn't spin the tires as easily, but when I punch my RC R/T from a stand still, it will melt the rear tires. It Smokes them all the way through 1st and spins a little in second. I know that new tires cost a lot, but I figure smoking tires is a lot less expensive than smoking tobacco or other things. Motor Trend TV also did a nice job of smoking the tires off of a red RC R/T during a road test...you can check the video clip out at
http://www.concentric.net/~magnumrt/SST.html
just click on the R/T link to get there. You will also need to down load the REAL audio/video player to view the video if you don't already have it.

Not to sound stupid , but my '98 CC R/T won't spin the wheels .
I know that you don't really want the wheels to spin anyway and that it's
probably cuz of the weight of the CC and the power is plenty for me , but
everyone talks about how they can't hold the ponies on the road ? Do any of
the other R/T CC owners have a problem with traction on the stock R/Ts ?
To be quite honest with you , at about $250 a pop for the Eagle RS-As , I
would have a hard time justifying burnin' em anyway .

It has a heaver front sway bar than stock and has a sway bar on the rear.
It has an aluminum drive shaft and some kind of brace which connects from
the rear leaf springs to the chassis to prevent wheel hop. It works very
well because I have never even felt the slightest wheel hop, even on 20ft+
burnouts. BEst bet would be to locate an R/T and give it a good look over
to see what your looking for.
