One of the auto shows on TV tested these in a "new products" segment,
and found they did absolutely nothing except make your wallet a bit
lighter...

Call me a sceptic, but this 'Tornado' looks just like a piece of a
squrrel
cage type fan. I personally would think that installing a piece of
plastice
that :

#1 ) Has to be driven by the suction of the motor would cause a drop in
quantity of air reaching the manifold and

        #2 ) With this piece of plasic jammed into a small intake hose
would
cause an immediate loss in air to the manifold

I'm going to have to call this one a snake oil type of performance add
on.
