Eric's trip to Milan

I think Eric is being a little hard on himself. Consistant runs in
the low 14's seemed excellent to me considering the current
modifications to his truck and the hot, muggy weather and
greasy track. Under perfect weather conditions there is probably
another tenth or two in his current setup.

I liked the run against the pretty black Ram SST. Eric put him
away with a 14.3 something to the Rams 16.2. Although the Ram
would be tough in bracket racing. I saw him make 5 passes and
every one was 16.2.

Don't be hard on him for missing a gear. Everybody does in now and
then. I can remember shifting from 1st to 3rd on a manual shift
automatic. That's frustrating.

Eric, many thanks for the kind words. Had a great time and it brought
back many memories. It has been 22 years since I staged at those
lights.

Sean, Jon and Bill; real sorry you guys didn't make it. Would have
been real nice to shoot the bull and watch you run. Maybe another
time. My grandkids a flying in on Friday the 26th so I cannot
make that date.

Eric, you did well.....Keep practicing on the reaction times and don't
tear everything up on Gratiot.

Talk to ya all later....
