When I unbolted the y pipe from the manifolds, the bolts had only a little
rust on them. I just sprayed them with wd-40, let it sit for about 5 minutes
and broke them free. The thing I found that made it hard was access and wrench
turning room. I had about 2 feet of extensions put together to get to them.
Then I used an attachment on my cordless power driver ((14volt drill) to spin
them free. I then snugged the header bolts to the y-pipe in the same manner,
and then wrench tightened the rest of the way. If you have access to air
tools, or have the same tool setup I refered to, then you wont have any
problem. But just remember, if the y-pipe to maniflod bolts are rusted to the
point you would rather cut the entire y pipe off, imagine what the cat bolts
are gonna be like.
hope this helps, and if not ask me more.
George
