   You did the right thing, George. Good call. You can always tell
him to come back alone if he's serious. (Preferably at an actual
dragstrip, but that's a whole 'nother topic.) :-)

   It doesn't hurt to set a good example for others either; from the sound
of things, those guys could use some lessons in safety and plain ol'
common sense! Who knows? Maybe somebody saw you and actually learned
something; stranger things have happened. :-)
