Go with an FABM type filter setup - duct cool air to it if you want
to. Also, I would highly recommend Magnecor plug wires - a little
more money, but I've only heard great things about them. If you go
with shorty headers (or no headers for that matter) you might want to
replace the y pipe. If It's as big as the v8 y pipe, maybe it's ok
for your truck, but the v8 y pipe absolutely sucks and should receive
top priority in any exhaust mod for a v8 IMO.
